Product Description:
The dual wall heat shrink cap is a heat-shrinkable product with a pre-sealed single end and a double-layer structure, specially designed for the insulation, sealing and protection of wire and cable terminations. It is widely used in electrical, power, automotive, photovoltaic and marine industries for its excellent sealing, insulation and mechanical performance.
1. Structure & Working Principle
Double-layer core structure
- Outer layer: Radiation-crosslinked polyolefin, featuring high mechanical strength, good insulation, flame retardancy, UV resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, which provides the main structural protection for cable terminations.
- Inner layer: Hot melt adhesive (EVA or Polyamide PA as the main raw material), with strong adhesion to metals, plastics and rubber materials.
- Pre-sealed end: One end is pre-shrunk and sealed during production, avoiding moisture and impurity intrusion from the end after installation.
